Job Description

Landsman Real Estate Services, Inc., a property management company, is seeking a District Manager for residential communities in Rochester. Please submit your resume and salary requirements to employment@landsman.com.

DESCRIPTION: Oversee the day-to-day operational responsibilities of several properties, including financial, marketing and leasing, customer service, compliance, and staff management responsibilities. Develop, plan and implement budgets including charting the overall financial performance of the property. Oversee site inspections, resident relations, and maintenance and vendor relations.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of seven years of experience in affordable site management. Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) or Certified Manager of Housing (CMH).

EDUCATION: Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or equivalent Real Estate education. Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) or Certified Property Manager (CPM) must be obtained within five years of employment. Must be a Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS), have C3P Tax Credit and LIHTC certification, and have STAR certification.

OTHER: Comprehensive knowledge of all phases of leasing and resident retention. Excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, organizational, time management, conflict resolution, verbal and written skills. Computer proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to navigate the Internet. Working knowledge of BostonPost preferred. Knowledge of Tenant Rental Certification System (TRACS).
